IT Technician Position

Department: IT Department

Report to: Team Leader

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support to end-users by addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries.
• Set up and maintain computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of servers, routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, data backups, and antivirus protection.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Conduct user training sessions to enhance their understanding of technology tools and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, equipment, and software licenses.

Salary

• 900 - 2400$ + Bonus

Qualification

• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
